I doubt TJ or DMo for that matter will ever be Allstar players, but the Bucks fan obviously forgot about the 36 and 11 he dropped on them last year. This isn't like this is his first really good game. He has had plenty of impactful, high level double digit scoring and rebounding games. Games where he was arguably the best or second best player on the floor that night.

TRob is who he is. A really good rebounder that has super athleticism. Basically a better rebounding version of Jones that can't shoot the ball. His numbers support that. When Robinson went off for 15/16 a few months ago I'm sure some Blazers fans went crazy talking about his potential as an all star or whatever, but clearly the team didn't share that opinion and I think it's the same with Jones. He had a good game against a completely inexperienced rookie and the fanbase is overreacting. It'll die down soon enough and things will go back to normal till the next time he has a random big game.

Which might indicate that he has a high ceiling.

Whether he reaches it?? Motor issues might hold him back??

So you think DMo is waay overhyped then? Considering he hasn't achieved (as a starter this season) as much as Jones achieved (as a starter last season, or this season).

Or do you give DMo more credit because he can stand with his buttocks facing the hoop?

Last season Jones had a lot of games were he was flirting with a double double. 14 and 8 was not by accident.

And you charged me up about being irrelevant. Lol and you bring up T-Rob. Wow bro you mostly reaching.

I am the Bucks fan and I don't judge players depending on the perfomance against one team especially one that was the worst team in the league last year with a total of 15 wins.
And I never said anything bad about Jones as far I am concerned.
I said Rockets fans should support him and cheer for him.

Fair enough. We can just drop it, I don't think this conversation is going to go anywhere because if I've learned anything this year it's that Jones fans are the single most overzealous fans since Lin fans. There's honestly no reason to keep up a counter-productive conversation like this. We all are pulling for Jones to do well because it'll help the Rockets this season and in the off-season when we are looking to make moves. Let's all just agree to that.

Which contradicts your earlier post about how we would have picked him up... we couldn't! (hence the cool story bro picture) Have you not heard about the salary cap rules?

    LAWL.

You're the dood who goes into every thread with an 'anti-Jones' agenda, pushing him down and claiming DMo is a top10 PF in the making.

Happy to cease fire, but if you keep provoking fights with dumb, unfactual commentary, then you need to expect to get piled on eventually.

I don't see much 'pro-Jones' on the bbs here. I see some doods excited about how our 2nd year starter (who seemed to have taken the 'next step' at the start of this season) has come back from injury, and is playing good ball again. This time, laced with good defence.

Didn't mean to offend you by referring to you as a Bucks fan. You are a Bucks fan and I was referencing a game against the Bucks showing his potential where you pretty much ran out the same team you had this year plus Larry Sanders. I'm not sure if you're aware of how many games similar to this one that Jones had last year. There were several.

Now let's no rehash that crazy stuff bro. I respect your opinion but this is nowhere close to what was going on with the LOF against us Rockets fans.

Both of these players have gotten better since their rookie seasons. Both players have shown us that they are starters in this league. My thing is why are you just promoting Dmo. Some would argue that you are a DMOOH. (Dmo only fan). You knocked Jones for his play against elite teams /PF'S and not Dmo.

This is ridiculous. One good game by TRob vs a huge chunk of the season last year and several games this year for Jones.

TRob can't even get off the bench of crappy teams

ok cool. I don't want to be singled out just because I have another most favourite team. I also support and watch the Rockets as much as I can and want the Rockets players to do well. Including Jones.

For people that lack basketball knowledge and common sense probably. So you probably think Joey Dorsey would average +12 boards a game is a good indicator
