I wonder if Blazers fans started or bumped a ton of Thomas Robinson threads on December 18th the day after their version of Terrence Jones(before they cut him) went for 15/16.

Who did we offer him to?

You could use the same argument about every single player on the Rockets roster.... 'we didn't trade him, therefore everyone laughed, because we definitely offered him' - um, sure.
And if you think TRob is another version of Jones, well, that might explain why you don't like Jones?

Sorry, not much because he was injured. Is he a good defender this season? If so, I am happy for him. But his body is too light for a PF, I do not know if he can be a good defender in the Western since there are so many powerful PFs.

again it doesn't matter. there's nothing you can say that can justify not getting your first rebound until minutes after the 3rd quarter starts. not even sure why you're trying to defend it. for a 7'0 that's pathetic.

People wanted to trade him because he became redundant when Dwight comes back and he's a good enough player that we should have got something good back.

Did TRob average 13 and 7 as a starter over a full season?

Or 14 and 9 on the current year?

Serious question: are you jpotmac/balcoholic? Because you're like a dog with a bone.... blinded by your own opinion of yourself.

Phoenix for sure. Cyberx(a credible insider) has said multiple times that his trade value is at an all time low and noone wanted him.
Who knows what other teams Morrey contacted. I suspect Denver and Bucks as well.
Give him time to play well for the rest of the season before calling him an all star lol

Well we offered him for sure to the Suns, Nuggets, and Bucks and we couldn't get any interest.

Also, if you don't realize that Jones is just another version of TRob, it makes sense why you'd overrate him. Tweener forwards with freak athleticism aren't as valuable as you might think because they are super common.

He's missed a huge part of the year due to injury.

He is defending the house down this season - check out the defensive metrics: http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/203093/tracking/defense/
    Defensive field goal % against = 35.1
    Highly impressive.

He is big, 6'9.5 and 255lbs. Strength is no issue, it is application which is the problem for him - seems to have improved (so far) this year. Would be fantastic for it to continue (the sceptic in me assumes he will regress :( )

TRob averaged 14/12 per 36 last season, just got enough minutes to make his per game stats reflect that. TRob in some ways is a better version of Terrence Jones because he's a MUCH better rebounder and his athleticism is even more freaky....he doesn't quite have the shooting ability though.

Was it confirmed that Morrey offered him to Denver and Mil? I missed it.

Yes tweener forwards are pretty common and that works against his trade value and most importantly his serious recent injury.
I hope he gets better and plays well for the rest of the season however.

Of course his value was low - he had player 10 games prior to the all-star break!
Doesn't mean we offered him, or that anyone laughed about it. Did cyberx say we offered him to Phx? I thought cyberx was all 'we aren't going to get Dragic', and nobody believed him...

It's very prevalent to this topic since you think he is head over hills better than Jones. The man posted Dmo's stats against elite teams and the PF'S and Dmo's inconsistency. You guys especially Holic was knocking Jones for his play against elite PF'S and elite teams all last season. Now someone posted Dmo's number and you gents gives him a pass.

Come on man keep it 100.

And I didn't say Dmo is a center. I said he is tall and big enough to play that position.

    Oh per 36.

And why didn't he play 36? Because he was no good? And even if he did, would the stats translate?
    What a wonderful offering....

Fuel your hatred with something worthwhile at least???

again with per 36 stats that don't apply. theres a reason why players like him dont play that many minutes. it's because they can't.

I am well aware of that. Makes the premise of this thread calling someone a future all star after one game, even more ridiculous.

    He probably is balcoholic/jpotmac.

Wouldn't be at all surprised!! If not, what a shame, has the same way of looking at things through his own opinion first...

    Indeed it does!!

However, pointing to Jones accomplishments last season, and the way he started this season, and suggesting that it's good we didn't throw him in the dumpster, is a tad more measured?
