    Aaron Brooks dropped 30 after Yao went down. Now if Lin doesn't play, Brooks will most likely get a decent amount of minutes. Is anybody else thinking positive :grin:

    But just imagine if (with Lin injured) AB got major PT, a flip switched and he somehow channels THAT ABvsLA tonight... I mean it's not TOO farfetched of a fairytale, is it??

    Brooks will actually have a much better matchup with Westbrook out. He might actually have the game of his career.

    We won game 1 of the series with Yao then lost him. We won game 4 & 6. Brooks had an awesome series against the eventual champs. We had a good squad to start the year that year. Oh what could have been. Damn.

    It is not going to happen. Did Brooks get any quality minute since his arrival? NOPE. I think he better just sit and play garbage minute. Don't want him in and ruin the chemistry

    Man, he had such confidence. He really needs the green light to succeed. When he plays with hesitancy, he's useless.

    AB needs to pay attention in practice! Hopefully he knows the plays now. the 2 plays (that didnt garner any points) looked positive; beating his man twice to get to the basket.

    1) Westbrook is a terrible matchup for Brooks to guard.

    2) Derek Fisher is THE BEST matchup for Brooks to play against.

    3) With Lin out, SOMEONE has to play minutes at pg. Beverly can't run the whole 48 minutes.

    Personally I think Brooks has gotten better at other aspects of his game since he last was in Houston. I still believe he has the ability to score, but the system and situation of our team doesn't give him the same freedom he had when he was here.

    All in all, I just have this vision of Brooks hitting a few 3's in front of the home crowd picking up momentum on the way. It's just a dream, but what else is there to do when you're the 8th seed.
