lol...I can agree with that sentiment, except sooner or later we would have to play them also. And i would hate the feeling of seeing Portland with a monster team, because of our generosity.
Pryzbilla was the #9 pick in the 2000 NBA draft. Shane Battier was the #6 pick in the 2001 NBA draft. IIRC, Pryzbilla came out after one year while Shane played all four years at Duke. That would probably mean that Pryzbilla is probably younger than Shane... plus he's taller... plus he fills a huge need. Now I've historically been a Duke basketball fan, so I love Shane Battier but he won't be a Rocket forever.
Congrats on the Luis Scola status thecabbage....you need an official nickname like "The voice of the people" or the "the people's champ" LOL
off the subject while we wait for Matt to shut Rich's fat mouth up for a second- Millsap is from Grambling, La., and attended Louisiana Tech, where he became the only player in NCAA history to lead the nation in rebounding for three consecutive years. He entered the 2006 NBA Draft after his junior season and was a late second-round pick (47th overall), but immediately became a rotation player, earning second-team All-Rookie honors. This bodes well for Taylor. He's a proven scorer in college like Milsap was a proven rebounder in college.
Thanxs... I'm one of those guilty long time lurkers... Love the site tho. Don't get me wrong man, I would root for a physically impaired midget basketball squad coached by Isiah Thomas if it ment the Lakers would go down in flames...
