Man Op T's were the **** I am surprised they have not made a comback they are pretty timeless. And Wieners I forgot how they used to be everywhere, they were the go to for Levis. Remember heavy starched Levis?
You can get OPs at Walmart. I starch the **** out of my clothes still. When I need to wear anything worth ironing (looks down at standard daily wear of gym shorts and tank top).
Screw you Wrangler derps. This is where it was at...before I was old enough to wear Levi's. Toughskins with the iron-on knee patches after I wore that ish out.
The ones I have are nothing like that, they have some pretty fashionable lines. I remember when a brother would not be caught dead in wranglers. Do you remember Sergio Valente jeans? They were my go to, I pulled a lot of babes with them.
I'm a white guy...but learned to respect and admire a nice female butt in tight jeans no matter what her ethnicity was. I was woke before woke was cool.
This was the first trend that made me feel old and out of touch, because I never got it. Definitely need the wallet-on-a-chain to complete the ensemble.
You had to have a but to wear chic jeans, if not it could look tragic. If your but was too big it could look tragic, in those other jeans like GV's and Jordache. I studied this ****.
Do you all remember kaepas and colored K Swiss? I took the K Swiss to college in Virginia, and they thought they were off brand Adidas. They were wearing these jeans that had a lot of pockets on the legs with snaps, I can't remember what they were called, and supertimbs. Man what were they called? Man these were ugly I have no idea why these were a thing and I was all in on them.
Kaepa was definitely blowing up in the 80s. 80s turf shoes with the little knobby cleats were the bomb too...
