Agree, very true - and no need to lose our minds over the baby steps we are taking so far.

My roomie's middle name is Doom. Lol. I'm optimistic - I don't think McHale is going to keep this up ~ he'll watch tape and review his players again and go back to the drawing board.

    1.Spoelstra>McFail
    2. Lebron,Wade,Bosh>Harden,Lin,Asik
    3. Wade isn't ordered by Spoelstra to dribble the ball up halfcourt, pass it off to Lebron, and spend the rest of the shot clock sitting on the 3 point line, EVERY DAMN PLAY while Lebron gets double and triple teamed. McFail does this.

3-4 other players like James Jones do not get to shoot 10 shots each a game for the Heat and have the green light to chuck 3's like Delfino, Parsons, Patterson, and Morris do. Wade is allowed more than 10 FGA a game, while Lin has less field goal attempts then Delfino or Parsons. Lin is ordered by McFail to give the ball to Harden and pretend to be invisible and sit in the corner 3 point line every play.

    4. Bosh has a offensive game, Asik has no offensive game.

Look, the Rockets played like crap the last two games. But they took Portland into OT and were right there at the end against Denver. (It would have been closer if Parsons made that final 3).

Just wait until McHale has a clue on how to construct an offense.

I am happy with pretty much any results this season. Miami's record at any point last season shouldn't be used to compared with our record.

I don't think mentioning this team in the same breath as the Miami Heat is going to temper all those unrealistic expectations for this season.

It'll be at least a month before we can prognosticate in an even half informed fashion.

    Lin:
I don't see Lin displaying any of the elements of Linsanity until around the all star break. It will take him that long to get his game legs and timing back to anywhere near an optimal level.

    Asik:
The coaching staff will get on him to finish more aggressively (dunks whenever possible). For some strange reason, McHale seems determined to run the offense through Asik in the post. Right now, Asik's job is to learn how to catch the ball and dunk it.

    Harden:
I'm not the first to say it, and we all know it. This guy is strange. He's loopy. Not MWP loopy, but this is not John Stockton or JLin we're talking about here.

"I'm mad OKC traded me so quickly. I wanted to pray on it"

One week later: going bug eyed throwing money at a stripper with an improbably large rear end in houston.

Anyone looking for leadership from harden has mental health issues just as formidable as harden's.

McHale's got his work cut out for him.
