You're absolutely right. I'm not here to debate the merits. I couldn't give a crap. I'm a big Rockets fan, but I come here for the news. I don't find most of the discussions here the least bit interesting. If you never rambled on about puppets and being 14 and barely able to read, then I'm probably not referring to you. I do think it's elitist and stupid for you (collective you, not you personally if this doesn't apply) to claim someone's a puppet or 14 or whatever the hell else was said. Briefly here's my actual opinion on the topics in this thread: -I'm sure Bullard is a great guy. As a basketball player, I wouldn't put rank him near the bottom, but he sure was painful to watch. I remember his last couple of years when tried to develop a pump fake and then take a 10 foot runner. Just terrible. If you want to see the next Bullard, check out Brain Boddicker up here in Austin. The difference is Boddicker is an excellent defender inside. For some reason while Bullard was loved in Houston, Brian does not have the best relationship with the fans for some reason. It stems from the fact that, as stated, Bullard was a role player while Boddicker was expected to do more coming out of high school. -I think you guys give Bullard more credit than he deserves because he's a part of the bbs culture with the song and all. He's not the worst ever, but let's not pretend that there weren't plenty of other people of there that couldn't have served the same role. -Up in Austin, I've only been able to see the opening night game and the first home game, so I can't comment on Rice's play. I will say that I'm sure he'd be able to do better if Mobley wasn't such a damn ball hog. I can say every other player on the roster would be better off without him.
