    Morey did not admit to tanking. He said the Parsons line up would not have been championship material. He has until the trade line in February to improve the roster for the coming season's playoffs. With Parsons, we would have been locked into 2nd round exits for the next couple years. Morey is trying to go beyond that.

    Admittedly, if he'd know he was going to lose Parsons, he wouldn't have let him become a RFA. But after missing on a 3rd star, Morey is looking for the next way to get beyond what we were last season.

    I was being serious, Parsons was a non factor during the playoffs.

    We've been grooming Covington, no point in locking ourselves into mediocrity. <br><br>
