    You're seriously comparing Amare's injuries to Yao's?

Look at how many games each has played (or will play in the future) since 2006, then get back to me.

I wished the Rockets would have traded their number 1 pick in 02 to Cleveland for their #1 pick or even Detroit #2nd pick in 03. That way we had a chance to draft a real superstar in Lebron or Wade.

Imagine Houston would of traded their number 1 pick in 02 to Detroit for their 2nd pick in 03 and ended up drafting Darko because of their obsession for a center...

Honestly, that 2002 draft class was pretty much terrible outside of Yao and Amare. Right now only Amare is playing at an superstar level but other than that, everyone else sucks or out of the league.

So if the Rockets didn't draft Yao, the only other logical player they should draft is Amare because he's the only superstar in that 2002 class. I wouldn't say Yao was ever a superstar because he never had a chance to reached that level.

Yep, Yao's days as a superstar (span what 3 weeks at 27 ppg?) were ended by Tim Thomas.

That's 2 careers he has ruined (including his own of course).

Yao's not a "superstar" (I'm not arguing that he is or was), but Amare is to you? Amare scores points but can't rebound or play any D. Basically hasn't done either of those things well throughout his career. On a team with Carmelo Anthony, he managed a 42-40 record and was swept out of the first round.

Better yet. Houston could have traded its number 1 pick in 2002 to Portland's number 1 pick in 2007. Greg Oden, b****ez...

This thread is really pointless. You talk about things with hindsight, then anybody can be god. Give it up already.
