Wow, truly a great player and better person. Much as I dislike the Eagles and Packers I hope one of them can win it all and deicate it to the big guy.
I was watching NFL Sunday Countdown at the gym when Chris Berman broke this story. It was odd seing MIke Golic break down in tears on the air. You think of these guys as big burly strong men and sometimes forget they have emotions and a sensitive side too.
As for the infamous press conference, I was as pissed as anyone about the racial stereotypes thrown out... but he acknowledged that he was wrong immediately afterwards, thus he earned my forgiveness.
I can't believe this. I always admired the way he stuck to his principles and beliefs... he seemed to be one of the good guys. (assuming nothing bad comes out about him afterward, like you sometimes see in these cases... I hope not) Sleep apnea is bad stuff. It also messes up your heart rhythms. If anyone has this, please seek treatment.
I think I heard the radio in my sleep, because I dreamed that he died, then I woke up this morning and heard the news. RIP Reggie.

My dad has sleep apnea too. He has to sleep with a monstrosity of a machine attached to his mouth every night. Wow.
This is sad, I loved Reggie White and his autobiography is one of my favorite books. A great football player and a strong Christian. He'll be missed. I am happy that he is with The Lord now.

Chapelle is a comedian who says things for shock value and comedy, and is paid to do so. White was being 100% serious and straight from the heart because he was speaking as a minister IN FRONT OF THE WISCONSIN STATE LEGISLATURE 2 different environments, you can't compare.
