This thought was sparked by the recent commercials he's appeared on. ("I told them to send it to my blackberry, not send me blackberries!"). My god, Reggie Miller is absolutely insufferable during games. The only word I can find to describe his voice is "grating." He says the most obvious things and it sounds like his voice is oddly muffled. Does anyone else find him abnormally terrible? I literally have to turn off the volume when he's calling a game. His sister is bad but at least we don't have to listen to her calling games.
He's somehow a complete moron. I mean he tried to convince us that Tyrus Thomas should average a triple double with blocks or at least average 8 blocks a game... What an idiot.
I remember that as well, and he mentioned how Zo did it in High School. Reggie Miller is very dumb, He can be funny but he's almost useless after that. Kind of reminds me of Barkley when he talks about the Rockets.
i dont know what it is about him..most of the stuff he says wouldn't be so unbearable if he didnt speak like a slow r****ded person in a loud voice.. like he raises his voice at the wrong parts of a sentence.
I really dislike him and his sister during broadcasts. However, he can be pretty entertaining and even enjoyable in other formats like his appearances on Dan Patrick's radio show.
Guy is straight annoying. Being he doesn't know anything (like most "experts") and he is an awful actor. I think NBA players should not do any sort of acting at all. Dwight is just awful, as is basically any NBA star that I have seen. Lebron, Wade, and Barkley are only 3 bearable ones that I have ever seen in commercials.
He's terrible, but sometimes he's bearable... It just depends on the situation, when he goes into that hyper mood, that just gets really annoying. That's not his forte.. he just over does it. Other times, he's bearable because he makes up for it. I still have to say though, he is one of the worst color commentators we have in this generation.
Reggie's high pitch voice kills me. I never really liked his style of play, and now I just hate his style of commentating.
