The fact that there is actually people up in a tizzy over this is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. I understand wanting Bush to forfeit the award. That is understandable. Anything more is just lame.
VY said he didn't want it. I'm sure in his opinion that he's probably taken money just like Reggie did so it wouldn't be fair for him to take the trophy based on that.
They can take away the award, but he'll always have the memories. This really doesn't change anything.
I think he means the voting process. I don't think anyone can argue that the words "fair and square" apply to Reggie Bush's college football career.
^ No, no, just the year in which he won the award. It wasn't fair and square that year. Bush got caught for wrongdoing that year, not his entire career. Did they vote without knowing his wrongdoing? Yes, but that doesn't mean it was fair and square.
