I really really do hope your right and that NBA agenda of Worriers going to finals doesn’t prevail over all else.

Thats the kind of adversarial crap we dont need to be playing into...
and idc if 'everybody does it'.... it can still work against us at some point...
if our guys wanna complain about a call - fine- but keep it professional... or even better leave it to MDA to do... i mean its not like he's busy calling plays or timeouts or anything... LMAO ;)

Just call it consistent for both teams. If they are going to call bump fouls for Durant, they need to call them for Harden/Paul. I say let them play a little like the last game but they did get whistle happy in the 3rd.

calling it tight, or letting them play, just need to be consistent on both ends......

Chris Paul: "You're a funny guy."
Ken Mauer: "What do you mean, I'm 'funny'? You mean the way I talk?"
Chris Paul: "Just the way you tell a story, you're funny."
Ken Mauer: "What's so funny about me?"
Kane Fitzgerald: "No, Ken, you got it all wrong---"
Ken Mauer: "Hold on, Kane. He's a big boy. He knows what he said."
Chris Paul: "You're just....funny. You know, the way you tell a story." (nonplussed, nervous)
Ken Mauer: "No, I don't know. You said I'm funny. How do I know? What, I'm a clown? I'm here to amuse you? Tell me.....what's so ******* funny about me?"
Chris Paul: (long pause) "Get the **** out of here, Ken."
Ken Mauer: "I almost had him! I almost had him! You better be careful, Chris. You might fold under questioning!"

I looked at some of this earlier, so here you go...

Mauer as head referee in 2019 Playoffs (7 games):
    • .286 home winning %
    • -3 home team point differential
    • 51.2% of fouls called on home team vs 48.8% called on away team

Mauer as head referee in 2019 Regular Season (56 games):
    • .538 home winning %
    • +1.3 home team point differential
    • 50.2% of fouls called on home team vs 49.8% called on away team

All in all, seems pretty fair, especially when you look at Foster and Brothers in comparison...

Brothers as head referee in 2019 Regular Season (63 games):
    • .651 home winning %
    • +5.7 home team point differential
    • 49.3% of fouls called on home team vs 50.6% called on away team

Foster as head referee in 2019 Regular Season (63 games):
    • .683 home team winning %
    • +4.5 home team point differential
    • 49.7% of fouls called on home team vs 50.4% called on away team

    • and yet game 6 at oakland last year -- mauer willed the home team to victory basically calling absolutely nothing for the visitor the entire second half (beardo with zero FTs). all these stats go out the window when the fix is mandated

I’d bet a large amount of money on Foster G6 and Brothers G7, if necessary.

Because the NBA is ****ing rigged. Full stop.
