We just don't want to re-live it. None of us can re-watch the highlights, let alone the games or 4th quarters. We don't want to remember every bad call because this series has been exhausting and let's just say Portland made some very tough shots when they needed and the Rockets didn't some of the calls they got in the regular season. Is that fair? Everyone happy?

We don't want to re-live it but seriously I'm having PTSD. I don't know why I let myself get so emotionally invested in professional sports. Nothing good comes of it ever no matter the outcome.

8 out of the last 9 times (including this one) the Rockets have been bounced out of the first with 1 second round exit. We are insane if we don't think it is highly probable at this point, especially at the 4/5 matchup 89%. The numbers don't lie.

yes the refs had bad calls, but...the Blazers fan didn't like the calls either. listen to the crowd they kept saying these refs suck, so they had bad calls too. always keep try to keep the refs out of conversations and make sure your team can control what it can.

Dont hate on me to much for this but just a conspiracy theory....
NBA using Sterling problem to help cover up bad officaiting not only in our series but throughout the playoffs.
Even if the NBA does release a statement there is a good chance it'll just be brushed under the table because of the Sterling comments.

Dont hate on me too much for this just a conspiracy theory:
The NBA is using Sterling's comments to cover up for the horrible officiating.. Think about it the refs have cost us a couple of games and they will probably issue another meaningless statement but with all the talk about Sterling it'll just get brushed under the rug.
That recording seemed way to fixed anyways, i wouldnt put it past them to pull something like this off.. LOL!

    I forgot about:
6)mathews on ground raping howard for ball. No foul, no jump ball.

That is 6 ridiculous calls/ no calls in span of last seconds of regulation and overtime. So 5 minutes and a few seconds of basketball with 6 instance.

The phantom technical against howard at beginning of game is a set up move in that howard can't do anything rest of game, can't say anything, basically completely neutralized from then on out.

I expect a lot more baiting of howard and harden by guys like williams (he did it to jones and jones fell for it even though everyone saw williams was the instigator)since portland has 3 games to burn and williams is not as important. Don't be surprised with more techs on howard and harden lots of baiting everywhere. Even ejection.

I was at the game last night. The angles they were showing in the arena were not the same angles shown on TV. They do this on purpose to get the crowd involved to try and influence the refs.

Think about it. Silver is at the game and the whole crowd is chanting "these refs suck". You think that didn't have an impact on the calls?

I did not read the whole thread so maybe this was covered. Why did they not go to replay when Mo stepped out of bounds after stripping Lin. I know I've seen them scour over tape to see who touched the ball last (which they did not do on the out of bounds on Howard, was it in last 2 minutes of overtime?)

The Howard out of bounds play was at 2 minutes and some change.

Rockets aren't losing because of bad referee'ing.

It's bad... but that's not why they're losing. It's bad on both sides.

The only thing that is really really strange is the technicals. I have no idea how the Rockets players keep getting techs for doing nothing, while the Blazers have short mini-meltdowns at times and nothing gets called.

But again, even with that, it's not why they are losing games.

In overtime though, right? Is it 2 minutes and under in overtime, too?

This is fallacious. The Rockets may deserve to lose the series, but that does not excuse the refs in any way.

They can review an out of bounds call at any point in OT. I don't recall when the play took place. I'm pulling myself out of an emotional hangover.

I'm tired of hearing some people say there have been bad calls against both team. GTFO with that ****. That is entirely erroneous. The Rockets have been blatantly jobbed by the refs this entire series. Even disinterested observers have been pointing it out. 2 of the 3 losses should likely have been Rockets wins. This entire series has been flipped on its head due to outrageous officiating.

Is Vince McMahon the head of NBA Refs now?!

I think they only review plays when a dead ball occurs. Because no dead ball occurred (the call on the floor was that he was in-bounds) and then they hit a three, there was no review.

Comparing Parson's "flagrant foul" on the holly LMA's forearm to LMA's "normal foul" on Lin's head, you know where the refs stand.

Witnessing how no Rockets teammate bothered to ask or pick up Lin after that hard hit on head, you know where Lin stands in that team.

Seeing how some posters thanked LMA for putting down Lin on the forum, you know where they really stand.

Ah, so it's all due to some world conspiracy against Lin? Finally, we've discovered the root of all evil.
