It was kinda shocking that they started calling legit fouls at the start of the 4th. If they had done it the whole game the Rockets would have had about 10-15 more FT attempts. One thing I can agree with Jazz fans is there should be more consistency on what constitutes a foul. Though, where we differ is that the calls should consistently favor the Jazz.
His calls were equally lousy, and he let them play at the end. I guess that's wayyy better than what happened the first two games.
I can not see why we do not get calls driving to the basket. Yet Utah barrels into us throwing up a prayer and they go to the line. Is there anything we can do to get to the freethrow line more? With the Jazz leading the league in fouls, I feel this is there achilles heel.
even my GF who hates basketball was screaming at the tv saying it was total bull**** on so many of the flopping calls.
Gayest ref of all time: <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-iVK2I-MMN0&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-iVK2I-MMN0&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Do you think the NBA could function with a defense-call-foul system? Meaning that only the defenses call fouls. I know that sounds stupid, but if someone hacks you and doesn't call it, you can go right back on the other end and do the same back and they can't say anything about it. I doubt it. Just asking. Where I play we play that way. If you get hacked you can confront about it but it's up to the defense to call the foul. It's all in the heat of the game, but you can go foul someone right back and not call it. It only works in streetball I guess but it stops people from calling touch fouls in the park and in the gym and all. The game goes faster and it's a friendly environment most of the time so people call fouls they think are really worth it. The only reaon I ask is if the refs are going to be this one-sided, we might as well try it LOL can you imagine Ron Artest in that system?

Van Gundy is so awesome, I wish all commentators call it like it is and not be so passive and politically correct.
