Isn't that the job of the head coach. Preparation, spacing, ball movement, missed shots.

Your argument amounts to "...the only offense the Rockets have is Tracy McGrady, a guy who was the leading scorer in the league BEFORE he was inducted."

Keep comments like these to yourself ,so you will not look like an @$$.

    on to the topic:
I don't like the fact that for the 1st and 2nd quarters the Rox would start to get rolling only to have a stupid foul called for crap that the refs just decided to look at, at that time. The play after DA got called for traveling, two Magic players traveled. One took baby steps and one switched pivots. I mean C'Mon refs. If you are going to watch players feet watch all thier feet not just one particular player on one particular play. It is just upsetting. I want to watch Basketball not free throw lessons.

Yeah, but you know what? DA's been holding the ball with happy, dancing feet since the first game of the season. I watched him shuffle his feet all throughout game one and thought to myself, "he's just asking for a travelling call."

I think if the same guy does it enough times, the refs are gonna call him out on it. DA shuffled his feet on the perimeter for 3 games. It was time for them to nail him. I honestly don't have a problem with that.

Your right on that.I hadn't noticed DA's dancing.

On the other hand i think i could substitute traveling with any of the other crap fouls.( 3 sec. , illegal D , touch crap ) main thing is I don't want to see all these whistles when I did not even notice the foul being commited. I watch the games closely. most of the time I see the fouls, sometimes I don't; and am still sure it happend. thats ok. But when there is one after another it gets OLD, quick.

Somebody please tell me why Yao wasn't rewarded "and 1" when he banked the ball into the basket down the low post with his left hand after getting fouled. I think it was Steve Francis who goaltended. Rockets failed to score and had a turnover after they had to inbounded the ball.

Not sure it was a momentum killer, but rulings like this (remember there was a similar one in last season's playoff against Mavs involving Yao) really suck. Yao was clearly in the active shooting in both occasions. In a previous game (forgot game 1 or 2), the ref handed out some of the most ridiculous "and 1"s I've ever seen.

Did Yao even leave his feet for that shot? That might have been part of the problem. Since it wasn't a "jumper" they couldn't really make a decision about whether he was fouled prior to the shot.

Remember last year @ Minnesota, he was called for travel while just dribbling the ball, and Steve Jones went "how could he travel while he is just dribbling, only Yao would get called for that cause he is so tall". Same thing here, he is just too slow, the referees won't see many shots as continuation.

Ok, if you pay attention to the 3 sec count when Yao defends, I guess refs could call him almost every single time. In reality they call once or twice on Yao in a game. NBA refreeing is radom and balancing. Also player's reputation plays a big part. Yao actually got hacked alot in the paint, but why isnt there a call every single time? Because often than not Yao shys away from contact, and when he does initiate contact he's often preceived as aggressor. This is what we have to live with.
