To me it was when Foster slammed his hand on the scorers table after that Shot Clock buzzer incident then him and Dantoni yelling at one another. That's when I knew.

It'll still register with a lot of people thanks to social media. You don't really hear anyone on TV(aside from Skip Bayless) talk about Zaza intentionally injuring Kawhi last season, but it's widely accepted by NBA fans that this is what happened. Pretty much everyone acknowledges that Game 6 of the 2002 Kings-Lakers series was a screwjob. Lots of folks think the Spurs won the 2007 title only because Horry hipchecked Nash into the scorers table and got a bunch of key Suns players suspended. And that the Heat only won the 2006 title because the refs kept sending Wade to the line.

This doesn't magically remove those championship banners for the Heat, Lakers, Spurs, or Warriors. But it is a pretty bad look for the league when at least 25% of their champions this century are mired in controversy.

    The NBA is BS. Rigged.

Why don't they assign refs by lottery / chance?

Yeah that was definitely one of the tell-all-signs Foster gave... but to me Coaches and Refs get into it all the time while tempers flare. But for him to completely blow James off like that was telling. He didn't want to hear it and knew he wouldn't be having to hear much more from us well after the game was over (cause in his his mind, it likely was).

I thought they were supposed to be grading these douchebags throughout the playoffs... and the best that graded out would move on to the following rounds. I guess these guys were the best the league had to offer, by the end of the "grading".
