I'm all for vaccinations but when our government gets more power they don't tend to give it back...see the Patriot Act.
Free rapid testing is also more widely available there. Combination of highly vaccinated population plus rapid testing would go a long, long way towards allowing the country to return to normalcy.
People whining about the patriot act with location tracking on on their phones, accepting cookies etc is just very 2021. I mean sure, Patriot Act was stupidly named abd badly drafted etc but if you think that's the preemptive threat in this area or the primary goivt failing... you're missing a few things. Anyway, it's also an utter nonsense reason to oppose vaccine requirements
We can't get united behind the most basic of things as a country anymore. Trump was booed when he just suggested people get vaccinated in Alabama. I would support a Denmark styled vaccine passport type law but that'll never happen.
