He's a role player lol. All the people who were bashing the Amen pick last year are on the Sheppard train. That alone tells me Sheppard's future probably isn't that bright.

Huh? Bullied by who, the fans? That's silly. If the Rockets don't have strong enough personalities to make personnel decisions based on their evaluations, rather than on fan influence, then they don't have the right people working for them. You are dramatically overestimating the fan impact on the draft process. If the Rockets didn't like Sheppard, then they would have been trying to influence the dialogue with fans weeks ago.

I love the Amen pick. He's athletic, a great passer and seems to be a team-first player. He can't shoot, but could anyone else on last year's team?

Drafting Reed will allow Amen to be a "point" forward. Reed will replace FVV next year. Amen will become the starting 3. The passing between Alpi, Amen, and Sheppard is going to be amazing.

Can we find a machine that will merge Sheppard shooting into amen? Then we would have our true star.

He was going up against college no bodies.

I was told TyTy Washington was a good point guard. I said he was too slow.

Reed Sheppard is going to be torched by SGA,
D Fox, Irving, Garland, Sexton, DeJounte Murray, Trae Young, Jrue Holiday, Harden, Steph, Morant,
Jamal Murray, Brunson, Haliburton, McCollum, LaMelo, Lillard, Westbrook, Cade Cunningham,
Maxey, Derrick White, Tyus Jones, DAngelo Russell, Cole Anthony, Fultz, Ivey, Marcus Smart,
Dinwiddie , Reggie Jackson, Coby White. This is just Point Guards. SG's salivating too.

Opponents starter will start 5 minutes and then sub out if knowing Sheppard coming in at 7 minutes.
Re-enter with Sheppard just to cook him.

Yeah good comparison actually. A bit of Kirk Hinrich vibes too, but somewhere in between there makes sense to me.
