Reed has a versatile game - elite shooter, crafty dribbler, and good passer. Love this draft pick. Hopefully this is a sign of draft picks to come by Rafael.

Do you consider Jaylen Brown to be a good passer? Is he even an average passer? 3.5 assists for a player with a usage rate around 30 isn't terribly impressive. Whitmore doesn't see the floor at all. I'm sure that he will improve just from sheer repetition but there's a good chance that he never becomes a good passer. To be fair though, he doen"t have to become a good passer but he does have to contribute in some area other than scoring. Otherwise, he's just a bench scorer.
The thing to be excited about Reed is not his scoring but the way he controls the game at his age. Don't get me wrong scoring 20+ points on low volume high percentage shooting is amazing but it is everything else that makes this kid special. If you haven't seen IT yet keep watching, you will understand soon. This kid with Sengun and whoever emerges as the best between Amen, Cam, and Jalen (likely Amen IMHO) will make us a contender quickly.
