Yeah. I've racked my brain to come up with better comps black or white, but I've seen Mark Price from the beginning. A sniper with average handles and passing ability for a point guard, which will be his role eventually. Just like Price he's going to have to grow into the point guard role. Price was basically a small combo guard coming out of college.

Mike Bibby with better defensive upside.
    Kirk Hinrich on steroids.
    Mike Conley with better shooting

The Bucks game was the best performance by Sheppard so far.
More so because his contributions didn't happen in a vacuum, but had a definite impact on the outcome of a meaningful game.

I admit I've been a doubter, but it's awesome to see his improvement.

I think the thing that’s stopping Reed from being a full time point guard is his handle more so than his court vision. He’s always looking to push the ball up floor and is good at making skip pass and getting hockey assist by making good reads. The problem is he tends to pick up his dribble too early. Nash was an all time great play floor general so that may be an unrealistic comp, but I could easily see him averaging 8 assists per game in his prime.

Agreed. Once his handle catches up with his athleticism and vision, he might be a real problem

In some ways he reminds me of Russell Westbrook and in some ways he doesn’t.

    Reminds me of Barry Lyndon.

Not Kubrick strongest work but still well executed

I just want Sheppard to be better than everyone he was drafted ahead of.

Remember when Yao Ming struggled his first 7-8 starts and started taking off? Hope this is the same thing here.

I feel this is Reeds rookie season. He played in games that didn’t mean much last season.

After watching clips of Nash, Stockton, Price, and rookie Steph, He reminds me of rookie Steph the most. Steph's handles and finishing are better than Reed's, but the shooting is very similar. I'm not saying he's going to be Steph; I'm just making observations.

Reed is like a mix between Bobby Sura and Jon Barry.
