Isn't it a little funny knowing that there's supposed Rockets fans that die a little inside when Reed hits a 3?

Not just Reed, there are noticeable fans who make their view on a player their hill to die on and look forward to them failing. He's just the current guy getting that treatment.

Then the crow about how they " want all Rockets to succeed"

Sorry, but you keep looking really stupid with this.

He has played a couple months in the league worth of playing time.

It's getting really embarrassing for you.

I hope you write off all young players in the league if they aren't awesome 750 minutes of their careers.

I’m one of them. I’m rooting so hard for him. Imagine our 3rd overall pick in a super weak draft ends up becoming a star. We gotta root for him. And honestly he has the skills to do so. It’s only game 5 for his real progress. And it’s going AMAZING.

Giannis was a "non-factor" 750 minutes into his career:

    6.8 points
    4.4 rebounds
    1.9 assists
    0.8 blocks
    0.8 steals

He was clearly someone you would agree was a bust, right?

The ridiculous stuff these Jalen fanbois cone up with is classic straw man.

If you say, play him off the bench, he needs to get better but needs playing time to do it; they think you're calling him an allstar or something.

We don't need him to be Curry. He could be 75% the player and still be helpful to winning a championship.

Giannis had upside Reed never had. Also he was 19 rookie Reed is 21 on his second year.

Reed most likely wont be getting a contract anywhere near Jalen. but he also wasnt drafted by the rockets expecting to be the #1 option. He was drafted for his ability to make his 3P%. And if he is able to do this consistently and contribute to winning games, he may not live up to a 3rd pick but he meets his expectations and i expect him to improve every year.

JG was expected and nurtured to be our #1 option. He had 4 years and 1 playoff to show the rockets he was the right man. He was wildly inconsistent and evidently he compeltely choked in his 1st play-off. Apart from the 1 game he went off, he played like a bench player and went completely missing rest of the series.

One of the biggest dissapointment in Jalen is that offensively he did not improve. He kept relying on his speed, he never worked on his game and that's why for 4 years there was never any noticable difference in his offensive ability. Phyically he also never improved so he was never able to take contact on drives resulting in him always being hesitant to attack the lanes because he would just get bumped off. Which led to his biggest flaw where he would initiate his drives with his speed, dribble into a wall at speed and do a wild bailout pass at speed leading to most of the time turn overs. He was so easy to read the defence just had to block his driving lanes and he would be taken out of the game completely. As a #1 option he could never play in a half court defence setting.

Reed was drafted as a top 3 pick if we just want somebody who hits open 3s and nothing else Aaron Holiday exists.

Jalen failed as a no 1 option but if him and Reed are both free agents right now Jalen would still get paid more and be more coveted by teams.

If we use Josh Okogie as a standard, I think Jalen had a chance to better than Okogie eventually. OTH I dont think Reed will be better than Okogie ever. I may be wrong but thats what I think right now.

No one has said anything remotely close to that.

I mean just a few days ago you said it was a fluke and he has never been a good shooter, citing examples of high school and what he did as a rookie. So I’m guessing today was also a fluke,

No one is expecting him to be a point guard right now. FVV was supposed to be with Amen and Holiday behind him.

Some dude said he was the best shooter in the nation I dont think this game qualifies him of that title. Do you?

Also.you are lying I never said Reed is a fluke. He has consistently done well against inferior competition I even called it in my previous post here.

A fraction of a year and 5 games.

    750 minutes.

You cannot write off anyone in the nba after 750 minutes.

They look the same to me both are undersized sgs with bad D. I guess Reed has much higher bball IQ and feel for the game not sure thats worth 3x salary but w/e.

Okogie shot 46% from 2 and 28% from 3 at his age.

So better from 2 and worse from 3.

    Different player types and roles.

Ajay is older and doesn't appear to be elite at anything.
