Reed Sheppard looks like when you let your much younger brother play basketball with you and he’s the smallest guy on the court, can’t guard anybody, and can’t get any shots off, but it’s ok because he gets to spend time with his big bro…only problem is this is professional basketball and we’re trying to make a deep playoff run
They contributed more than Reed. Reed was -13 in a game we lost by 4. The next worst guy was -6 he was doubly bad than the next worst person.

Hey man maybe you need to look at the box score because the BS you said doesnt reflect reality. The box score cant be glaized up with BS excuses it is there in black and white. You are supposed to look at the box score and then add context to it. What you do is ignore the box score and just glaize Reed no matter what happens which is the wrong way to go about it. But dont worry we all have to start somewhere. Keep trying and you will get it eventually. How regarded are you exactly to say "Reed can get any shot he wants" after he missed every shot that wasnt wide open? If you dont even need to make the shot to say that even I can get any shot I want in the NBA.
Him not playing much went under the radar because of their record but there is no way to hide him now. Even if he was shooting at an ok level, every team is targeting him. Its a problem. His pre draft workout for the rockets must have been legendary.
Many players had bad games tonight. Reed Sheppard is bad (for now). There's a difference, and it's not trivial. The amount of times Reed gets in to the paint and comes to a jump stop with nothing to do and nowhere to go is disgusting and frankly shocking in light of the fact it's happening for a coach like Udoka. How is it allowed to keep happening? Why are we enabling this? Where is the accountability? I get it - he won't hit every shot. He won't a great post defender. He won't make all the right reads....but why the heck can't we get basketball 101 right with this kid? What am I watching? If it's not the paint then it's right across half-court. Or he's 6 feet away at the top of the arc from either Alpi or KD and both are screaming at him for the ball and he can't make the pass. It's just bad man. And I won't say anything about how the Castle led the Spurs in OT w/ Wemby on the bench. That sucked to watch. FREAKING FARK REED LFG man!
Reed’s best ability is his power of hypnosis my friend texted me at halftime telling me Reed was playing well…I was like “You do know he’s 2-8 from the field right?” putting Reed in the same solar system as Stephon Castle is a huge insult…Castle wouldn’t be this trash on the Rockets, no fcking way…Castle can actually hang with NBA players
You have no clue man Reed can get any shot he wants in the NBA. If something went wrong its Ime's fault he keeps holding Reed back.

G league legend Reed Sheppard. That is his ceiling on this team in my opinion. I hope I'm wrong, but right now all I can vompare him to is Jimmer Fredette. Maybe he's alright if he goes to another team, but he should be the human cigar in a blowout like Boban was for the Rocketa. .
I’m terrified we might have drafted another Jimmer Fredette…aside from Reed getting a block or a steal here and there, I see no difference between them so far basically the same height and wingspan, both not PG’s, both garbage on defense to the point teams actively pick on them, and inability to do anything at an NBA level aside from spot up threes I hope we didn’t get bamboozled, because I don’t see the next Mark Price
He Just doesn't have the Gravity that guys like Haliburton or Curry have. He is a terrible ISO player! He needs screens and movement to get open and needs to catch and shoot.
I agree. I've seen Aaron Holiday dribble the ball. He can do it at an NBA level. Something Reed can't at the moment. Holiday complains more about fouls than Alpi, he heat checks like it's oxygen, and his emotions can easily get the best of him. He also fouls way too much. BUT HOW MANY F'N TIMES IS IME GOING TO LET REED KEEP DOING THE SAME S H I T w/out some intervention? Aaron Holiday is no savior. And I'm not here to help anyone pretend anything of the sort. But coach the F'n team man. At the most basic level the job description is to put players in the best position to win. Having Reed out there doing the same thing and making the same mistakes is not that. Ok that's enough from me tonight. This game isn't on Reed. But future ones will be if we can't coach this out of him.
They were bad shots for him because he is a midget with trex arms. He can get those shots in college and GLeague but this is the NBA with the best athletes in the world. Theres a reason you dont see 6'1 guys scoring the paint and mid range apart from exceptions like Kyrie. He should stay in his lane focus on passing and shooting open 3s. Learn movement and off ball shooting instead of acting like he is Kyrie with the ball on a string.
