JG was the main piece to get Kevin freaking Durant, one of the best players ever.

Last year Reed had 4 pts on 35% FG, while Jalen actually won us games (often against bad teams but a win is a win). Jalen actually improved a lot, he was shooting 36% from 3 in high volume and 82% from ft line for most of the season. This whole "inconsistent minutes" is a lie. Reed always got mins, but after 12 mins of bad play he will be benched. You want Rox to play him 30 mins no matter how bad he plays? If only due to inconsistent mins why was Reed percentages so bad? Look at Steve Nash and Devin Booker rookie year their percentages were still decent even with limited time.

Reed is showing a lot of promise now but we need to consistently see it in real games.

He was a scrub we forced on them that they initially rejected.... but ultimately realized they had no choice but to accept because they had no leverage.

It's adorable that you are still desperately trying to spin for your favorite draft bust though.

LOL, now you are basing everything on the contract he got? The Rockets were trying to dump him for over a year before they finally forced him on the Suns.....the Suns who wanted other players like Sheppard instead.

If the Rockets looked to move other young players, like Sheppard, Tari, Jabari, Sengun, or Amen, they wouldn't struggle to find anyone interested like they did with Jalen.

I have no idea what kind of contract extension he's going to get....I can talk about quality, not contracts. The reality is that the Suns would have been MUCH happier if Sheppard was in the deal instead of Jalen, but the Rockets said he was off limits.
