I mean Bobby Portis has a decade-long career as a rotation player going averaging 12 and 7, so yeah Bari could average that for a few years or so, but I don't see why he has to
Really good video. It shows that it’s all right there. He has it. He just needs to believe in himself and go for it. He needs to be the lead ball handler and make things happen. He can do it. He’s young and still learning. He won’t be perfect. But, the talent is there.
Kind of sneaky putting the name on the inside instead of the outside of the shoe. Are they implying that Reed is sneaky good?
I think R33D will clearly establish himself in the NBA this year. He'll likely be a rotation piece with 16-24 mins early on, but if all goes well that time should steadily increase. Unless you're Amen or Ausar, every player is going to have a hard time guarding SGA/MVP. That Reed competed and even got a steal is encouraging. However, I think his shooting and playmaking will more than offset issues he may experience on defense.
Ausar is a plus defender. Amen is an All NBA defender. Brunson would probably also say that. Reed's defensive criticisms have more to do with what he looks like than any physical ability. If FVV can he a plus defender (which he is) so can Reed.
That's incorrect - in fact it's the opposite. The bar was raised impossibly high by Ime for Reed to receive playing time in 2025, despite the clear and obvious need for outside shooting. Reed did not receive a opportunity for consistent playing time -- and he should have. Ime rode his stubbornness into a 1st round playoff exit (as a 2 seed), instead of giving Reed a chance to upgrade the team's shooting. With consistent playing time, we'll see Reed's quality. Ime's seat gets a lot hotter this year if he exits in the first round...so benching Reed again would not be advisable. GOOD DAY
Should have did this last year but hopefully Ime makes up for his mistake now. Would love to see what Reed could be in year 4, if he was treated like Green.
Incorrect. Reed's shot was abysmal & his defense was atrocious. He was given a opportunity but was a liability for most the year. Ime at some point chose winning over development & we eventually win 50+ games. Reed Sheppard wasn't ever entitled to get playing time he has to earn it
