He sure wasn't a clear one at Kentucky. He can slide into both positions that is why they call those Combo guards......and Reed might be a Combo guard leaning the PG way. You can't deny his roots playing like JJ Redick at times in College.

He played behind a more senior PG in college. That why he didn't start. But he still led the team in assists.

James Harden wasn't called a PG when he started out and became one of the best.....he started out as an SG....so the tag is really not that important. The Journey is. But yeah, Harden is a bad example for sure, not many can reach his heights.
