WHOOO Make that 15-0 when the Astros lead after 8! 4 game winning streak!!!! First 1 run win for the Stros! Nice save by Dotel! Got Scary! We have won 3-4 in this series. We are now 15-9. WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Oh ok...nevermind then.... Where does KoKo come from? (the name, not the guy) Great win!!! Perfectly played 8th inning. Still not a win for Redding. I think Miceli got the win.
Cards have the bases loaded, 1 out in the bottom of the 10th with Rolen up. Im not a Cards fan, but hopefully they get that run in and give us sole possesion of 1st place.
Astros back in sole possesion of 1st place. Cardinals win in the 10th inning. WHOOOOO Cubs lose. WHOOOOO Astros 15-9 all alone in first!!!!

that was some pretty clutch play by the astros today. i couldn't be happier, especially with Redding's performance early. so what do y'all think, does redding go down to the minors or into the pen, or neither? do we even have any options left on him?
Lets all give a round of applause to Todd Jones (aka Agent Orange) for blowing another one to the Astros. I swear that guy has been blowing games to the Astros ever since he left in '96. The longer he hangs around in the league the happier I am.
what a hell of a comeback win by the stro's bats in the 8th solid solid pitching by the bullpen after a typical redding outing..... not sure how many starts the organization is going to give him but his era and pitch count are horrendous. :\
It sure was. So fun to watch a comeback like that. For some reason i had a feeling that they would comeback like that today. I believed.
Cool thanks for summing that up for me. I just read an interesting article on ESPN that was saying, no matter how much teams downplay the value of April Games, they are still very important. It's hard to believe that Roger Clemens went to the mound Friday night with a chance for the first five-win April of his career. But scouts who have seen him say they've noticed no dropoff at all in his post-"retirement" stuff. "He's still strong," said one scout. "He still pitches inside. His fastball is still active. He's not afraid of anybody or anything. He's still in attack mode. He can still climb the ladder with his fastball. And he can back off on his velocity at times when he wants to. But he can get up to 94 (mph) and he can work at 92-93." The way Clemens, Roy Oswalt and Andy Pettitte have pitched, the same scout says he would take Houston's rotation over the Cubs -- "especially with (Mark) Prior not healthy and (Greg) Maddux shaky." One scout's nomination for most improved player in the National League this year: Astros shortstop Adam Everett, who has appeared to make a significant offensive leap and also leads the non-pitcher portion of the league in sacrifices, with five already. "He's got a chance to be the Jay Bell of the 2000s," the same scout laughed. It's a pretty good read. It talked about how many teams in the past made it to the playoffs that were below .500 etc in the month of april. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/story?columnist=stark_jayson&id=1793156
Great rally by the Astros today. A game like this can really propel a team into long winning streaks. I smell 7. As far as Clemens goes, the guy has been absoultley amazing at age 42. I couldn't be happier with the Astros right now.
