Timmy with a 1-2-3 1st. Alas, now they are teeing off on him.

1-0 Reds. Runners on 2nd and 3rd, nobody out.

Brad didn't help him out by failing to throw out yet another runner.

    Griffey single.

    3-0 Reds.

Doggy throws out a runner at 3rd to save Tim's hide.

Redding is having his usual efficient day:

63 pitches to get through 3 innings.

Looks like its going to be another one of those days for our hitters. No hits through 3 innings, and 5 Ks. Lidle is hardly known as a K kind of guy (474 Ks in 785 innings).

    Have we faced Lidle before???

Didn't want to start a new thread, but what's wrong with Ausmus? Only thrown out, what, 4-18 or something like that?

    Fire Redding.

EDIT: Here comes "Jimy". Bye bye Timmy.

Redding looks like he is about to cry. Poor guy.

Have we seen the last of Timmy???

I agree ... It looks like Redding needs to work some things out. Let him do it in the minors then bring him back later this year. At this point I'd go with Duckworth or Hernandez. Both an improvement over Redding.

it has to be a guy like Duckworth. In about a month Hernandez will be ready. Until then, the astros options are limited

Well what's new.....Redding sucked as usual.

BUT that was a great inning. It is now a game again! I kind of wish we kept Backe in. He looked really good out there.

Way to go KENT! And BAGS!!!

Boy, if I am a Red, I'd be pissed at Griffey for lolly-gagging on that fly ball. Should have been his play.
