Not very good math you got there.

    Battier 6.4 million
    Jackson 6 milion
Landry is worth roughly 2.5 million give or take
    -------
    14.9 million

Sign and trade Davis for 2 years 29 million, or 5 years 65 milion.

Right now, Baron isn't getting anywhere close to his market value from the Warriors. He is not going to take a paycut to play on a team competing for the 8th seed. Add to that the fact that Coach Nelson benched him in a game they needed to win in order to make the playoffs.

That's why he wants out. The only way he can get a nice contract is through a sign and trade. The Warriors wouldn't say no to Battier and Landry.

I would rather dream than hallucinate about Michael Redd. If we have a chance at acquiring an all-star this summer, it's Baron Davis.

I would much rather throw half that money at Monta Ellis and let Golden State keep Davis. Ellis is a much more efficient scorer and doesn't dominate the ball the way that Baron Davis always seems to.

Adelman played Steve Novak...a lot. This team is so desperate for a pure shooter that Steve "I should be in the NBDL" Novak got minutes and quite a few considering how bad he is. Novak's instructions were to shoot every time he got the ball and some daylight. Nobody told him to pass and cut and run the motion offense. His job was to nail 3s. Redd is light years ahead of Novak. I feel bad even mentioning them in the same post.

This team has shown itself to be one of the most unselfish in the league so how you figure that adding one of the league's best shooters is bad is beyond rational thinking. Do you really think Rafer, Yao and Tmac are going to be mad that they have the option of kicking the ball out to a dead eye shooter? Was Tmac saying "this team makes too many 3 pointers" during the Utah series?

If you think Adelman and Morey aren't salivating at the thought of having one of the league's top shooters and a legit 20ppg player for Tmac and Yao to kick the ball out to then no one can help you.

I've been working near Oakland for the last 6 months. I went to a few games, talked to Warriors' fans and listened to the radio a lot when driving around out there.

You can bank on them resigning Monta. The entire organization and entire Bay Area loves this kid's game.

I can see why. I wonder how much it would take to actually scare them off and let him go. 8 million? 10 million? he might really be worth that much.

How much defense did tmac play in orlando? Now look at him, im not comparing the two players.

Redd played for the bucks, the freakin bucks. Who wouldnt be a ball hog while playing for the bucks, hes still young. Mike Miller didnt average 22pt and he played for the worst team in the nba.

    Alston
    Tmac
    Redd
    Scola
    Yao

With a bench of piterus, laundry, novak. Um yes. We arent going to wing the championship with our current roster, you know that very well. We need a 3rd scorer.

That would be a great idea, if only the salary cap didn't exist and the other GM had a brain tumor. Gimme a break - at least consider the reality of the situation once before posting.

I like the idea of adding Redd but his salary is way to much for my liking. The other player in that article that I like that they say is on the trade block is Charlie V.

He can finish around the rim, shoot a mid range jumper consistently, but most importantly, he can REBOUND!

He is 6-11 and can play backup C for us as well. On top of that he only makes 2.7 million a year.

They need a SG. i say give Luther + 2nd round draft pick for him

I would trade Battier, Bobby Jackson, and Jackie Butler's (contract) for Michael Redd. The Bucks want to unload Redd's contract and their GM wants a small forward. T-Mac and Redd's contract would both end roughly about the same time. Next I would trade Luther Head and a #2 for Tabo Safolosha (Chicago), he is long athletic, and he can handle the ball. It's a good deal for both teams. Chicago needs 3 point threat, I don't think Gordon is going to resign with them because they owe Larry Hughes too much money.
