He started? It's game 6?

The answer to both of those questions is no.

Don't waste your time with him, RM95. He is pissed that Grady Little looks like a genius in saving Pedro to start Game 7 tomorrow.:D

Pedro may start but he isn't 100%, so he'll be gone by the 4th inning. Wakefield will get some innings tomorrow. The Yanks will prevail in the end.

    Go Yanks!!!

Keep making predictions as I keep forgetting that you believe in fairies, curses, and other magic bunk.

Did your magic 8 ball tell you that Boston would lose tonight?

The bottom line is that if Pedro is 100% healthy, the Yankees are in big time trouble and you know it.

But that is a big IF.

I don't think Pedro will be the key for Game 7. Healthy or not, he has not been vintage Pedro during these playoffs (still good but not automatic). The key is gonna be Clemens. Will we see the Roger who's recently been clutch or the old Roger who would choke away playoff games (sorry to bring up old memories Manny)? After his Game 3 performance, I'd recommend the Sox to get his pitch count up early. Might be a good idea anyways, because the Yankee bullpen is spent!

Winner gets to face this year's Angels!! And I'm gonna be rooting for them low budget Phish!

That umpire wanted to get back at Ortiz for dropping F-bombs on him. Either he needs glasses or he's a vengeful jerk. I don't care how bad the umpiring is as long as it's not the umpire from Game 1. Dude takes forever to call a strike.

    GO SOX!!!

I think it will be that guy. There are 6 umpires and they rotate each game so the guy who worked the plate in game 1 has now worked 1B, 2B, 3B, LF, RF the last 5 games so it seems liek it's his turn behind the plate.

But what a great series and what a fantastic matchup for game 7! Be fun to watch tonite!

I am so ready for game 7, I want to see the yankees cry. It is so easy for some to be a bandwagon yankee fan, it takes a real fan to stick with a team that hasnt won in a while and never give up.
(except for the cubs, they just suck)

    GO SOX

Well a game 7 is the last thing I wanted to see!

Too many strange things can happen (and usually do).

All predictions are out the window! It's gonna be great baseball theater!

    LET'S GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG, the Red Sox are going to get beaten so badly.

Come on people, it's the Red Sox! Like the Cubs and the Astros, they just weren't meant to win anything. Some things are just bigger than baseball

Agreed, but if the series turns out to be Yankees/Marlins, watch the TV ratings fall through the floor. If this is the matchup, I, for one, won't watch a single pitch. I've watched every inning of the NLCS and ALCS so far.

The Red Sox have made the world series 4 times since they last won it in 1918, losing in 7 games each time. And all 4 of those have come since the Cubs last made it in 1945. If you had to compare the 2 franchises, the Red Sox have been a little more successful although it is not by much nor something to thump your chest about.

You know this is the first time that I have ever AGREED with you on anything here. And it is unbelievable that our agreement centers on the Sox!:D But, yea, you won't catch me coming close to watching a Yankees-Marlins World Series. You have one team that is affectionately known as the Evil Empire and is one of the most hated franchises in all of sports going up against a team that almost no one (including their own fans for most of the season) cares about plus the last time they were in it, their owner couldn't wait to break up the team.

I have to admit that I was ready to bury Boston after losing Game 5, but this is a team that has been so resilient and they finally did what they do best - hit the ball and score runs.

It will be a crushing defeat if they lose tonight; however, it has to be the greatest playoff series that I have ever witnessed as a Red Sox fan AND that is being said before Game 7!

I just hope and pray that Fox doesn't show any more shots of stupid celebrities tonight like they did with Nicole Kidman. Like she even knew what baseball was 5 to 10 years ago. Yet, she is a BIG fan.

I do admit that if I had the chance to trade celebrity fans, I would gladly trade Affleck and J-Ho for Nicole!:D

Man, I can't wait for this game!!! WHAT a matchup!!

    1. Unbelievable historical rivalry between Boston and the Yankees

    2. Clemens is one of Boston's all-time greatest pitchers, if not their historical best

    3. They physically fought last time they played.

    4. Pedro and Clemens are two of the top pitchers in the AL, and huge big game performers

    5. It's GAME SEVEN, winner goes to the World Series.

I can't think of any possible better game to watch. Maybe if it were game 7 of the world series with these matchups or something...
