I wish I could have auditioned to be a Red Rowdy. I'm moving back to Houston at the end of the year so God willing, next year I'll get to try out. I miss being in Houston year round, but getting a degree was well worth the sacrifice.
Kam is lying about me making it. Here is my audition. You be the judge- I went away with my spacesuit and just stuck to a belt. I was just checking to see if owen conflenti, one of the judges, uploaded videos to youtube yet and stumbled across this one. I was eating honey bunches of oats while watching and sprayed milk for the first few minutes of the video. I made it! We have a lot of returning rowdies. I was kind of disappointed in the turn out for the tryouts, but we did get some good new additions. I was definitely at the game tonight. I had a closeup on the jumbotron screaming. It was also my sign that said "Rockets will may you pay, sirs!" Tryouts were outside. It was soo hot- plus wearing my spacesuit is like wearing a sleeping bag. I was super dehydrated. I went back to my car before the game to down some waters, so maybe you didnt see me because I was MIA at the TC until the very start of the Romp. Thanks kingstevo for the nice comments! ^ ok nvm I rmbr seeing that sign very cool! Glad there is a lot of returning rowdies I always loved the rowdies and Y'all screaming the "rockets red glare" during the national anthem. Whenevr I here the anthem at a non-rocket event I always think about the rowdies screaming that. Very cool y'all made it hope we have a good year
as for the video, I am determined to make her a youtube star. I'll definitely post some encouraging comments and thumbs up to get her to make some more videos. It was originally posted Oct 3 of this year. it's gone from 9 to 51 views since I first viewed it. I'll post my audition in this thread tomorrow, or monday- whenever I find my memory card reader or if Owen posts his videos first.
