Yeah the pre game " romp " was a bit weak. I thought there was supposed to be 60 of yall looked more like 20. Yall really couldn't start the crowd in roar with 25 of yall plus I was told to sit down by a fellow fan during the player introductions what kinda stuff is that

SHeesh this is pro sports, what's the big deal with a little heckling to (may I remind you) multimillionares conditioned for criticism? I sure don't want no PC conscious Nancy Boys in the Red Rowdies let alone a Rockets fan in our arena.

    Exactly.

Look, we're shooting a narrow-freaking-gap if we want our atmosphere to be "rowdy" like some of the more raucous arena's yet only want to heckle the "bad guys".

    How subjective would that be?

Think about it for a minute before we get all touchy-feely on each other....They weren't hurling personal insults at Stro, they weren't vulgar, and they were pretty damn tame compared to what I've heard in Philly or New York before.

Some of you are putting WAY too much thought into the sensitivities of pro athletes if you think chanting "YOU GOT TRADED" had any effect other than to increase the enjoyment of those fans being boisterous at the game.

This is why we needed the Rowdies in the first place. Learn how to have some fun.

And again, the "we want Novak" chants. I dunno, just something wrong about questioning Van Gundy's decisions when he got the seats. (since it wasn't in the 4th Q when we were up big or anything)

Of course, the first ones of those were *after* Novak came in, which also didn't make sense...but no problems that time ;)

feel free to chant or taunt at the players, but keep it somewhat clean.

if they can't stand these chants, they're mentally weak, and probably couldn't make it out in the real world.

you think the players care? They make a crap load more money than most of us will ever make.

    No way more like.

Anybody on the Spurs, especially Ginobili aka Cockatoo, Tony Parker the European Midgit, and Tim "boring" Duncan, and for the Jazz, we shout stuff at Mehmet Okur for being so ugly, Kirilenko for looking like the guy from Rocky 4, Carlos Boozer for betraying the Cavaliers, and now for the Pistons, boo them cause theyre fans are some cocky bastards, and for the rest, Antoine Walker, Eddie Griffin, and Mike James need to be shouted at.

i like the way stro has handled all this trade business, but i thought chant was kinda lame and not hurtful at all (of course, i dont know anything about how stro feels...for all this idiot [me] knows, hes up in their plane crying his eyes out). its just a statement of fact, like "you went to lsu"

i guess im kinda indifferent to it (and my guess is that a pro nbaer would be too), but if it makes the toyota center louder, im all for it

i applaud the efforts of the rowdies...keep it up folks

It's not that bad...there's been worse in professional (and college, they're ruthless sometimes in college) sports.

I don't know how Stro feels but honestly I don't think he's losing sleep over it.

He's probably got more supercars in his garage than the number of times he got beat down the floor by Yao tonight so it's all good for Stromile.

BTW he defined (and justified) his nickname "Slomile" tonight...

Whatever it takes to liven up the Toyota Center is all good man good job Rowdies.

I think the chant for Mike James should be "We treated you like a prostitute, knowing we were going to get the good sex, but we didn't want to buy you dinner."

Maybe it needs to be trimmed down a bit. :D

That was actually brought up to Van Gundy during the post game interviews. He said he didn't hear it.

He did go on to say how great the new Rowdie section and the rest of the crowd in general has been this season. He gave a lot of praise to the atmosphere in Toyota Center this season. He also said he can tell McGrady feeds off it it.

    Keep up the good work.

I think it should be, "No Trade Clause" or "Hey Stupid your stuck in Minny".
