since we have a loss and everyone decided that they should be able to start a new thread just to complain (we really need to take a look at this, it's ridiculous and good threads like this gets pushed off the front page) I just figure that this is smething that's really good for the Rockets, this thread here. I hope more people will go so we can all cheer the Rockets to victory against the Wizards
I wish I have a chance to stay in Houston and join the crowd for once. To show my support, I rate this thread 5 stars as I believe it is a very good offer (30% discount). Go ROCKETS!!!
I got the invoice for my 10 tickets.. row 24 seats 1-10!! Trying to get Tshirts made that says GO ROCKETS!... one letter each OR CLUTCHFANS what do you guys think? And is that ok with the BBS if we go with clutchfans?
I'd LOVE to make it to this game, but I'll be driving to Ft. Worth that night. Let us know when the next discount is and I will make it in Red!
just got a call from Brian, got my buddies and me tickets on row 23! for those of us going, we really ought to get some tshirts with 'CLUTCHFANS' on it or something. make sure ppl know who we are, just like the rowdies
whoops, sorry candlegreen i totally missed your post about the shirts that's a good idea, we definitely need to coordinate something for this game
well the 11 (11 now) are probably going with a letter each with an "!" at the end.... I just want to make sure it's ok with Clutch and them if we decided to do so. It's basically paying tribute to the deal that we got and maybe it'll convince them to do this more often as it's good for the Rockets!
but is he your friend b/c you work for the rockets w/him??? from your past responses you look like you work w/the rockets & I hope team employees don't pose as fans to circumvent clutch & co. to sell tickets to this community. my 2 cents. perhaps clutch is aware of this already. don't know.
I may be willing to hook you up. I've got tickets (sec 114, row 23, aisle) for that game through my package and if you can't get them otherwise, I might sell you mine. Going to the Texans game earlier that day. Evan email is my username at hotmail
Last year, the Rockets had a couple members of their staff on here to announce the promotions. It's legit, it's a win-win set up, Clutch is on board, and it's not spam. Whether the Rockets post it directly, or through Red Rowdy members, or through others, the deal is the same: They're lopping off a significant amount off ticket prices to stuff the Rowdy section as much as possible. You'll see this a few more times over the course of the season, primarily in games that aren't selling well. It's like the guys night out or family four pack promotions, only way way way way better and more fun. It's legit and I recommend that everyone that can take advantage of it. I've already got 11 games on the year, but will tack on these Rowdy nights as they happen. If you don't have a load of cash, well, if there was ever a game to just buy a single, this is it. Evan
They only allow posterboard size and lower. You could split it up into different pieces, but you would have to put a decoy message on one side to sneak it in, and cover up the true message with another piece of posterboard.
? I haven't run into any sort of issues with any of the dozen or so signs I've brought in this season or last. Bringing: CL-UT-CH-FA-NS-.N-ET as 7 posterboards wouldn't raise a single eyebrow. The only reason to sneak a sign in, in my experience would be if it were profane or openly inappropriate. Evan
I could be wrong on that multiple-poster point. The poster nazis made andymoon leave his big Texas poster outside last night.
