On another blog they are saying the kicker got up, looked at his sideline and went down again to "sell" the injury. Is that true?

Agreed, but I assume UT would go for two if they score a TD so that they are up 3.

Pretty much. He'll make a good Jazz player. Worst acting job ever. Was pretty funny though, I gotta admit.

OK, just saw the replay. He made contact with the kicker but just barely. Kicker was clearly acting.

I didn't see him look to the sideline but he started to get up and then fell back down holding his left calf. OU ran a fake punt earlier and afterwards they were stretching his leg out on the sidelines. After the running into the kicker penalty, they showed him limping on the sidelines. I think he injured himself on the fake punt and just aggravated it in the running into the kicker play. There was some embellishment though.

He had possession when his knee hit the ground.

Yea, he didn't get all the way up. His coaches may have been yelling "stay down! stay down!" or something. Who knows.

You can't establish possession in mid-air dude.

If you don't hold on to the ball after you jump into the air and hit the ground, its an incomplete pass.

If UT pulls this out, I think Colt McCoy must be considered for the Heisman.

    That two-point conversion was hilarious!

The chances of that ball bouncing perfectly straight up in the air are pretty slim. Crazy looking play.
