Freon line in attic is frozen, no air flow. Can't hear compressor running. Outside unit is less than two years old and running fine. Turned off everything to let it defrost. New air filters.

Advice for an AC guy South of Houston (Clear Lake) is appreciated.

    Thanks!

My dad owns an A/C company out of Pasadena. Several other ClutchFans have used him before.

By the way, make sure your thermostat is set to "off" not "cool" but put your fan to "on" instead of "auto" to speed up the defrost.
