I had mine done with Doctor January. Friendly and funny guy. I had the PRK done 1 year ago through him and all is well. He puts your mind at ease, and even plays music while you get it done. He'll also let you watch the process get done on somebody else. I think mine was 2700 total.

seriously, you should consider going outside houston,

4000 + for both eyes is alot more than 2500.

I used to do a lot of work with opthamologists, including some named in this thread. The impression I got was that the best surgeon in town was Dr. Whitsett (in other words, who they would go to to get surgery). I could give you more details, but attorney client privilege prevents it. Good luck.

yup, i was at 1800 bering on friday afternoon. i wasn't impressed that the Intralase machine is only there a couple days of the month and the next available day is april 16th which means i would have to take a day off. not so good since i just started my new job a few weeks ago. their price was great though, at 3700 for me.

well what did you get done??? different procedures and different eye sights cost differently. PRK is the cheapest as it is one step. LASIK is next around $3200 and Intralase/LASIK is the most at $4000. plus b/c my eyesight is worse than most, it is a bit more too for the procedure.
