Recession in PRC possibly deeper than US

    I didn't see that many chinese companies this year at CES. they are usually alot of them attending. Maybe they had private events outside the convention center. many companies did that to save costs.

    with all the economy threads lately, been meaning to ask since i dont know jack about economics. are we just completely screwed for the next 5-10 yrs possibly longer? or am I just watching to much of the news and their gloomy context most of the time? i mean at this point it feels like we're all going to heck in a hand basket. :confused:

    the definition of a recession is 2 consecutive quarters of negative economic growth.

    Not in this case for China, and not in the US currently because they defined the recession as started in Dec of 2007.

    Most economists think we will recover in late 2009 or early 2010. I have my doubts. Truth is, no one knows for sure.
