Troy Murphy would be SUPER nice next to Yao. Rebounding machine with a soft touch. What more cuold you ask for? If the guy continues to work on his body this summer, he will be a tremendous tremendous role player next year.

Also, I have never ever in my life heard of an overrated rebounder.

There is absolutely no way on frikkin hell that a person can average 9+ rebounds over 6 or 7 seasons and be an "overrated" rebounder.

Maybe if it was just one season. But the guy's a proven rebounder.

Despite this, I wouldn't want him on our team. It would slow us down further, our fastbreak would get even worse if possible. We are already last in the league in steals, and this would make THAt worse. Also, our Small Forward would be 6'5 and our PF 6'9. SAR is too small for PF, and JJ is too small for SF.

Also, if we're getting a F who can't stretch defenses, I would MUCH MUCH rather go after Al Harrington, offering Mobley plus a pick or part of the TE, whatever. The guy's young, talented, and is a betetr defender than SAR. I love SAR, but man, EVERYONE's defense is better than SAR's.

Also, by the end of this year, Harrington will have tons of playoff experience already. By trading Mobley, we could move JJ to the 2 and Harrington to the 3, and already our team is bigger and better at rebounding.

As for PF's, PJ Brown will probably be available if New orleans go out in the first round. They may be willing to do a PJ for Mo swap if they want to get younger and better at scoring. PJ and Magloire are a bit too similar, MoT would give the some scoring punch.

I live in Orlando, FL, we'll give you our team, and you can take ours. I think that would be a great way to rebuild :p.

so then Houston will have 2 teams? Hell, we just extract Gooden and McGrady from the HOUSTON Magic and put them on the HOUSTON Rockets and sell the HOUSTON Magic :D

All of you guys are forgetting one important point: CD will be in charge of any team rebuilding effort - end of story. Now, if that doesn't put a chill in your bones nothing else will...
