Things we know—> Harden & Paul both help in the decision making for the Rockets and their voice matters. The starters are not really engaged at all this year and each has missed time for one reason or another.

    Reading the tea leaves:
the players know this isn’t a final product so they aren’t vested at the moment. When the “real team” happens everything will be fine.

We are 6-7 on the season.

In every single win this season we have won the rebounding battle.

We have lost the rebounding battle in every loss except for the Spurs game; in which we were horrid from the field and lost a close hard fought game.

The Rockets have issues rebounding the ball, issues with depth at the 1,3,4 and 5 and obviously would ideally add another elite player.

Rebounding and the depth issues are fixable, which is encouraging.

Problem is that teams are not currently inclined to make deals. Address the 3/4 depth issue and we likely solve the rebounding problem.
