What's next? The Fall Guy? The A-Team? Greatest American Hero? Hardcastle and DaDakota? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/2pS39X658Vw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/yOEe1uzurKo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
If MacGyver can make a helicopter from a paperclip and a rubber band back in the 90s, wonder what he can do in 2016.

So basically what I get from that trailer is that he has the skills of Iron Man to escape a terrorist camp, that he has the ability to duplicate fingerprints like Ant-Man, and that he has the archery skills of Hawkeye.
My man formerly known as Nick Stokes from NCIS is in it! It can't fail. I dunno about the lead character. Is this supposed to be MacGyver in his younger years or a complete reboot? It does look kind of cheesy. Maybe they should have rebooted Quantum Leap instead? I suppose this is supposed to be the technology updated version of this show but that could also be its downfall. I hope he isn't creating supercomputers out of motherboards and paper clips. This kind of show worked in the 80s because we all longed for something better and MacGyver could create it. Now, we long for simpler things because sh_t is getting way too technical.
Looks like it is going to be his son based on them mentioning his father. Also, there has been talk off and on about a QL reboot.
