because there is not a whole lot right now. * Bill Worrell's quips about the current state of the Rockets * Jae'Sean Tate * Mason Jones ... other than that i don't see a whole lot of reason to watch the team until March 11.
Your reasons weren't enough to get me to stay up until 2am last night for the first time in a long time. I didn't watch the game last night and i don't regret it one bit. I expected a loss but this was worse than even i expected. Until there are trades to get rid of guys like House and some of the other dudes, I'm gonna stay away. No point in watching washed vets lose game after game.
Can't think of anything. Oladipo will play hard in every game he plays here in March (interrupted by All Star break). Probably average 26 points a game and team assisted stat padding to get him moved. Westbrook-style. The others are covered in bubble wrap and ready to ship out (asked not to get hurt). They've shown what they can do 4 weeks ago. Only thing is where are they going and let's have the Rockets pay as much of their salaries up to the actual trade deadline.
I’m enjoying the drama. It’s entertaining! Don’t watch it expecting a win, watch it deeper to see where and when it all starts to unravel. Watch the individual players closely and you’ll see with your own eyes exactly how stupid Danuel House really is, for example, or how surly Eric Gordon has become. Watch for the third quarter collapses, the 20 point deficits, the drama as to whether or not Tucker will score a point. There’s a lot of entertainment in watching these games actually.
Don’t need a reason other than being a basketball junkie. For me, the % of Rockets games I have missed since I became addicted to this team is roughly 5%. I watch when we are awful just as much as when we are awesome. It’s more fun when we are winning, but it’s different with basketball. I feel like I need the Astros and Texans to be good to care about watching them. Rockets are different. Hopefully ownership isn’t as inept as I fear and things turn around.
Not much, I don't like watching teams that don't even try anymore. The years after Yao with The Scola, Brooks, Lowry crew were fun because they actually tried every game to win
None. It just puts me in a bad mood. No reason to do that to myself. I value my happiness, and I owe it to my wife not to get upset by something so trivial and outside my control.
I can hardly find any reason to watch this crap of a display right now other than the fact that our chances at a top four pick will increase with every loss and the future will be better because of it.
More fun just to check the box score at the end of the night and shake my head, rather than wasting 2-1/2 hours watching this junk, though.
game threads are mildly amusing at least. those of us who stick it out have a decent time, I think. I do anyway. Misery loves company.
The only reason to watch is Christian Wood. He is the only player that can be part of the next successful team. The rest of these bozos maybe outside of Tate will never be part of another successful Rockets team given their age and ability unless they are traded to a ready made situation on another successful squad
