Green is a high flying whirling dervish of a scorer, I think the least you can expect is a lot of fun. Scoot II, that's not bad.
Houston had a chance for a quick bounce back to relevance. Instead ownership showed their true face and chose short term money and marketing. Now we are going to end up like one of those dumps Sac, min, det that don't see the light of day for decades. No wonder everyone who was anyone left this franchise as fast as they could run. This draft is truly the nail in the coffin. The last semblance of competence, Eli Witus, is likely quitting after getting his hand forced.
You should check mocks from last YEAR that had 1. Cade 2. Green 3. Boston 4 Mobley. Cade and Green were the consensus top 2 picks before Cade ever played a game at OSU or Green ever suited up for the G League.
Historically the 2nd pick is usually a bust. Obviously, hoping that won't happen but I just don't think Jalen Green will be better than Mobley in 5 years barring injuries, I guess we'll find out.
Where are you getting this from? It seems theres a cosensus on Green as an elite talent not to mention hes taken a unique road that could prepare him for what it takes better than others. He fits the future of playmakers 3 ball being catered too and him and KPJ should be a headache for the opposition and a fun one to watch As far as reserving excitement, we just spent the entire year without one meanngful game at the bottom of the rankings...we've been aching to get excited and the no 2 pick will do that to ya. Go rOCekts
That's a cool chart, @J.R., just packed with info. @TimDuncanDonaut made good use of it. Kinda scary.
