i would love brad miller here. i googled and all that popped us was hes between celtics and heat, and the bulls have a chance, but no houston mention :/
Morey needs to find the Bobcats a PG from some other team so the Rockets can make a 3-4 team trade to get Chandler and get the Bobcats the PG they need.
Meh... I'm not sure at this point that he can play Center any better than Chuck Hayes. But he's at least been an all star, so he might have something left.
I was thinking more of a 3 team trade something like this Houston : Chandler Charlotte: Sessions, Jeffries Wolves: Andersen Gives Bobcats a cheaper PG option than Calderon and an expiring in Jeffries. Wolves get an Expiring in Andersen and can go after Ridnour. Rockets improve their C spot and get an expensive expiring. Bobcats can still ship Diaw to the Raptors for something or whatever.
Now all we need is Tyson Chandler and we can have 3 big men, so even if Yao falls again, we get Tyson and Miller!!! Anyways, Brad Miller would be a good pick up. He knows the system, and he's a tough player. He will add toughness to this team.
Something like this works: Houston: Chandler Charlotte: Sessions, Jeffries Wolves: Anderson, A. Johnson, M. Harris http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2etn2vt I suspect the Wolves would want more though.
Perhaps, but the Wolves are "motivated" to move Sessions since they are looking for another PG like Ridnour. That "motivation" might cause them to take less on the dollar in this trade.
So for one of your posts tyson's age is a major point, then you turn around and compare his situation to a player whos almost 32?? Chandler has no reason to stay in a winning system, when he can go to another system that's going to PAY him. You're kidding yourself if you think Morey is going to give him anything close to what he's making now, since we have a legit center already. Other teams? They'll overpay for sure and for mutliple years. Our backup SF just recently became our back up, going into the final year of his contract. Not a comparable situation AT ALL. That layup parade was happening because our starting center was a 6'7 PF. We also didnt have anyone over 6'9 most of the season. It's a different situation this year, i wouldnt expect the same thing to happen...getting yao back allows us to go for Miller rather than forcing a trade for a shot blocker.
