Chandler is in Toronto now folks. He's not coming here. Morey pulled out of the Big trade because they wanted one of our young guys (Hill, Bud).

Naw, the deal aint close yet. Apparently Jordan is having second thoughts on the deal and will reevaluate it tomm.

Charlotte owner Michael Jordan has had "second thoughts" on trade with Toronto and deal is suddenly in peril, league sources tell Y! Sports.

    We still have a chance!

Our main weakness is shot-blocking at the rim, I don't think Miller would in this category.

Well, the trade was based on the sign and trade for Bosh sending Beasley to CHA. That means now we'll just have to do it in another way.

I still wouldn't give up picks of any of our young guys for a 1 year rental.

Although Okafor is a reach, he would be well worth the amount for ever how much time. ;)

let's not let them get to the rim then ;) ....easier said than done, but both yao and miller can clog up the paint pretty well

Sounds like a good signing, a notch above David Andersen even at his advanced age. ;)

Although getting Chandler or Okafor may sound nice. I am leaning more Brad Miller simply because we would be adding a player and not giving up any. ;)

some of you guys over value shot blocking. we dont need just shot blocking. we need a 7 footer that can pass because its always good for a big man to be able to pass, someone cheap, someone that can score (not another chuck), someone with experience, someone that can score, someone that can make great outlet passes to our point guard, someone that can block shots but if hes not a great shot blocker he needs to be able to change shots. to me changing a shot is just as good as blocking a shot. there are only advantages when it comes to blocking a shot compared to changing a shot. the two are, intimidation and it can lead to a fast break. changing a shot will most likely result in a miss which is the same exact result of a blocked shot and sometimes a changed shot's rebound will result in a fast break. i think brad miller would be the perfect sitiuation as a backup center to yao and to be in the mix with chuck.

The one thing about Brad Miller is that he will be bring that Nice Veteran presence too the Locker room. He 's very professional and a good teacher of the game. So he's gonna really help our big men and team in general in running Adelman's offense and general overall play . Plus he will contribute he still has some left in the tank.
Yes I would Love a young athletic guy. But I'd rather have Miller than Gortat.

Yes but the reporter is reporting older news than the OP Twitter post. The only that might be newer is a direct quote from Miller's agent, Bartelstein saying, "There's a lot of people pursuing Brad," and, "[Miller] loves it in Chicago,"...

Based on that I think there's alot of people pursuing Brad one of which we know was Houston and he likes Chicago. But the Chicago reference could mean the city.

The twitter from Woefl is more current and more insightful this latest report you posted. Still all could fall apart just like the Chandler trade.

The Rockets may make on last stab at Chandler. I bet Adelman would love to have Chandler on his roster and if we can dump a couple of contracts in the process and not have to include NY picks than that would just be dandy in my book.

Rental? Tyson Chanlder is only 26...if we got him here I'd say we resign him to an extension well into his 30's.

Yao + Chanlder = perfect C rotation for the Rockets.

He should be more than a simple rental for us.

I'd give up Battier to get Chandler

Our biggest need is interior D to stop the layup parade by every other team. Miller does not address this need. Miller is only a more efficient deluxe version of David Anderson.
