Really, genius? You a psychology teacher or something? Analyse all the other players' on court mannerisms for me then tell me their "attitude towards the game" then. While you're at it, analyse the coaching staff's mannerisms too. Show me proof. This thread is a prime example of how the BBS is down in the dumps lately. I don't know if it's due to the open registration or what, but Clutch, it's time to clean some stupidity off the site. Bring back the good discussions please.
We should DEFINITELY trade McGrady for a player that never, EVER smiles. I've had about enough of his awkward smiles under tense situations. He should be forced to watch more footage of Darfur children so we can wipe that smile off his face. What a b*stard!
Some of you guys are really dumbasses. This is a ****ing regular season game... We still have 68 games more to go... We lost a regular season game... do you want him to cry? He has no heart? Everyone lose games... the season just started... we have time to turn it around... and he knows that. Was he smiling when he lost in game 7 against Dallas? If I remember correctly... he had a tear running down his face while sitting on the bench watching his team being demolished by the Mavericks. Game 7 against Jazz? During the post conference he choked again... You guys are idiots for saying **** about Tmac... for the guy that said "heartless b*stard" is a ****ing idiot. Why the hell would you take this so ****ing seriously?
I actually believe there is something to this. Here's my theory: Tracy McGrady is a more mature human being than Kobe Bryant. He has been through a lot, on and off the court, and has realized that there's more to life than basketball, that there can be beauty even in defeat, and that sometimes it's amazing just to look around realize you're alive and doing what you love, regardless of what happens. Unfortunately, he has realized this too early. Not too early for himself -- it's a tribute to him, as a person, that he's done so. But it's too early for those of us who bite our nails through every Rockets game, caring more about a trophy than about growing up.
This post epitomizes the riduculous, empty, and senselessness of this thread. Yup we should trade anyone on this team who smiles or is a good human being for players like Kobe because then our team will gain a a ego-maniac/rapist. .......geez.....I'm about had it with the state of BBS now, no loyalty, no true support through the thick and thin of our team, just idiotic, hate threads like these
I'll say it again,he walks around, stands straight up on defense, shows no passion or will and yet, his god given talent lets him score as easily as anyone to ever play in the NBA..... Maybe it was just me, but I thought he looked heartless and lazy.........
So Tracy plays lazily and without leadership at times because he is mature???? "there can be beauty even in defeat, and that sometimes it's amazing just to look around realize you're alive and doing what you love, regardless of what happens." Is this what keeps Mac from greatness? So essentially, youre saying Tmac is not a winner, and(at times) does not care about winning?
Its really not about his 40... He decided to start playing in the second half... and his effort was terrible especially on the defensive end.. he just doesn't try his best until its too late... if tmac really wanted he could have probably put up 60
what also makes me mad is sometimes after T-Mac misses a shot, he doesnt even run to get back on D. its more of a walk/slow jog. If i was Adelman, i would change that in a second. I dont care if he is the superstar, RUN!!! Show some heart!!!
Everyone should get off mcgrady's back, the guy is trying whether u like it or not. His lazy eye may get to you or even his smile but you cant score 40, shooting 50% without actually trying. As people mentioned, he has broken down after exiting the playoffs and so how can you say he is heartless or isnt trying. Ive seen kobe smile, heck ive seen michael jordan smile when his team was down, it doesnt mean they are not trying or that they dont care about winning, its just that they got love for the game no matter where they're at.
