Any one here apply to a top 10 b-school? Will a 700 with a good gpa and work experience cut it? Or is a 700 too low?

^ I got into a top 10 b-school with a 720 GMAT (though decided not to go get an MBA at all). My experience was that a 700+ score should be enough to get you into any school - but don't be confused, you will obviously be behind a candidate equal in every other way but with a higher score. At this point you have to differentiate yourself through other areas of the application process.

I would be careful right now. B-school applications are going through the roof so competition is much harder. In fact, I know a current Harvard B-Schooler and he is set to graduate in a few months. He has been telling me job offers have been very disappointing for him and his classmates especially for those looking into finance and Wall Street.

This is because these grads are now competing against those hundreds of thousands who have been laid off from the big I banks. In fact, Citi just announced 53K in job cuts today.
