BTW - I do believe that starters are the most important and that a great bench is overated.....in the long run.

But it is nice to have a great bench, a luxury, IMO.

If they were to add Taylor with Lowry, Bud, Hayes and Miller, they would have a very good bench.

This is why you are a rookie.

You would trade Lowry, Budinger, Battier, Hill, Miller, and Hayes for:

    Lawson, Afflalo, Harrington, Birdman, Carter
Duhon, Pietrus, Richardson, Anderson, Gortat and Reddick
Barea, Terry, Chandler, Marion, and Stevenson
    Robinson, Wafer, O'neal, Davis

How can we have the best bench with Hill on it? The guy hasnt proven anything yet. Maybe if we still had landry.

If Sheed comes back, easily Boston.

Shaq, J ONeal, Sheed.. Enough said.

Shaq coming off the Celtic's bench would be crazy!!!! I'm surprised he took a bench role when he always is demanding playing time.

Yep adding Miller and Yao just turned two guys to the bench we didnt have last year. Plus our draft pick. So thats our starting center last year and a new center we just signed. Realistically we do have the deepest bench by far.

Are you talking 12 deep or are you talking 8 deep?

From a GM's perspective, our bench is great. Young talent with potential. Expiring contracts. The whole nine yards.

In terms of playoff contribution, Lowry + Air Bud + Brad Miller is really who you're gonna see logging in minutes when it matters. How do they rank with other teams' next three? Pretty good.

I say we are top 3 as far as benches go, the other two being Boston and Denver.

I don´t think we have the best bench.
    Mainly because of two things.

There is no player that you know that will impact the game inmediatelly after he enters the game.
There is no scorer in it who can create his own shot and score easily against other second units.

But we do have a very good bench.

Lowry definitely impacts the game. Also I think this is the year that we see Bud begin to dominate the other benches with his offense.
