Actually looking at what teams who are actually selling to dump salaries and the contracts match at least 75%, (which is the NBA trade rule when over the cap) I actually found some realistic trades for TMac. My rules were who has players with at minimum 2 years on contract which teams are trying to dump for next season and needs which the Rockets would like to add to the team. All my trades are straight up for Tracy.

    Milwaukee
Michael Redd 17 mil 2 years left on deal
Dan Gadzuric 6.7 mil 2years left on deal

    New Orleans
Tyson Chandler 14.2 mil 2 years left on deal
Mo Peterson 6.2 mil 2 years left on deal

    Detroit
Tayshaun Prince 10.3 mil 2 years left on deal
Richard Hamilton 11.3 mil 1 year left on deal

I would do the Detroit deal all day long. We would still need to add size and a backup center of course

IMO all the possible players to trade T-Mac for(Amare and Vince) are gone. So we'll likely just keep him until at least the trade deadline.

I really didn't believe in those trades for Tracy because all three players have expiring contracts. It really didn't make since for those teams to trade a active scorer for a guy who will likely be out until Janurary.

The New Orleans trade doesn't look good for Rockets because it doesn't make us any better. Sure, we'd have a backup center but really no good player at the sg spot.

And Paul+McGrady could be very effective.

    bad information by OP.

HAMILTON HAS 3 YEARS LEFT ON HIS CONTRACT.

I hate it when people post misleading information and then everyones gets passed along the wrong info

Nash and Amare for Brooks, Landry, TMac... anyone?

But, I'd rather take that Detroit deal for Tracy, straight up. That would be sick.

I would do the Amare trade (If the Golden State rumor isn't true)

    Bruce Bowen for Brian Cook
Defensive mentor for young players like White. The Bucks would save some $$$ also. Depth

Sign Mike Bibby to full MLE for couple of years. (hope that's enough)

    Resign Artest, Don't resign Wafer

    Starters:
    Yao
    Amare
    Battier
    Artest
    Bibby

    Rotation:
    Scola
    Barbosa
    Lowry

    Bench:
    Hayes
    Budinger
    Bowen
    Barry

    Inactive:
    Dorsey
    White
    Taylor

With Battier, Artest, and Hayes I dont think we need another defensive player that can't score.

I'm not saying those are realistic. I just said that those are the MOST realistic of any T-Mac trade scenario in a relative sense. In the end Morey just isn't going to dump him. Which is why we're not going after the likes of Redd or Chandler.

If Rubio is forcing his way out of Minnesota...

    Rockets: Nash + E.Thomas
    Suns: Rubio + Madsen
    Minny: Brooks + McGrady

    Flynn, Telfair
    Ellington, Brewer
    Gomes, Cardinal
    Love, Songaila, E.Thomas, Madsen
    Jefferson, Smith, Pecherov

    Flynn, Brooks, Telfair
    McGrady, Ellington, Brewer
    Gomes, Cardinal
    Love, Songaila

While Morey and his crew were crunching numbers, the spurs and magic were getting their trash ready and watching game tape. The results were a in division that has kicked ur ass 4 ever, got a all star caliber scoring/defending wing for less than what u got a declining guy in miracle intangibles that put up a whopping 5ppg on the road in the playoffs. Go formulate that.
