Brewer is a good slasher and plays well off the ball. He can play make some but in crunch time and in general, I don't think Brewer can be counted on to play too much at the 1 spot. This team still has a major hole at a very important position, pg, and the team can't be really taken too seriously because of it I'm afraid. I don't even feel we need a super star pg just a solid pg who can shoot defend AND play make consistently.

This man gets it. A solid traditional pg would help a lot. Can't be that hard, can it?

Knee jerk much? Is our roster not stacked enough for you? Even with that loss, we're still in the top 5 of our conference after having altered the roster seemingly unendingly. Morey is never looking to stand pat, but the salary cap is going to catch up to us. You can't keep a team this loaded forever. You can only replenish with younger talent. Unless the new salary cap saves us, something has to give this year or next. Personally, I'd trade papa for an expiring to try to keep some of our other pieces.

    Go all in on Lawson/Jackson/Dragic

Man, it seems like since Harden has been here, it is the impossible dream to have a solid traditional pg next to him. They are just asking Harden to do too much and that is not a winning formula for a deep playoff run which I'm guessing is the organization's goals. We'll see what the trading deadline brings.

    Mo Williams!
Mo can give our team 15p/3r/7a per game(45%FG,40% 3p FG)

    MCW is an interesting suggestion.

Wonder if he fits our offense/ defense, if PHI would trade him, and if we have what it takes to get him

He'll be 33 next month. We need someone younger, who will stick around.

I thought about Nelson as well. Start Nelson, let the offense settled in, and then bring Bev.

No excuses their guards outplayed our guards. At the same time the Rockets still haven't put a solid game together yet with this new crew...

Yeah, I used to be more of a Pat Beverly fan, always knowing we need an upgrade at PG. But his defense is only okay. Good, maybe, but he's overrated, and he's getting bent over by opposing PGs. And we need another playmaker in the worst way.

With a minute to go against Dallas, Lawson has 25 points, but more importantly 12 assists. Get him will not be cheap, but Lawson on this Rockets would be just awesome.

The Rockets have very good to great parts. They need the grease in them to run like a well-oiled machine. Without Lawson, Dragic, or even just a competent pg, we are just sputtering around.

Sorry about the grammar. I used to be a very good writer. Don't know what happened.

Maybe we could trade a first round pick for him?

seriously. Pg is supposedly the most stack and supplied position in the league. All the other top contenders have an elite one. All we need is a slightly above average one who's well rounded
