Realistic options to upgrade the PG spot?

    This is part knee jerk but I think the question was legitimate before tonight's game. If we plan to contend this season we are weakest at the PG spot. Bev is a specialist but if he's not doing what he specializes in he's a liability.

    Realistically what options are there to upgrade the pg spot before the deadline? I'm not even talking dragic or Lawson. If we can't upgrade big at the 1 we still need to do something about the weakest link here and maybe a backup center when dwight isn't engaged in the game. I'm open to all ideas here guys. My confidence in Bev is shaky at best now.

    I get Harden is our main playmaker, but still. ZERO ASSISTS for our supposed starting PG tonight.

    People who still feel this way just don't get it. All teams need to do is double Harden and the Rox are finished. I'm surprised teams don't hard double Harden more. He's having to do too much!

    Canaan is probably our best shot, realistically. Dragic seems far fetched but things can change by the deadline

    I get the suggestions for canaan and I'd like to see him get more PT but I'd just feel better about someone with more experience to run the point of we're going to get far this season.

    i never bought into the bev being a great defender. he is a gritty defender but smart teams will run pnr to death on him and just cha cha cha to the basket.

    when bev has success it's when he baits the opposing pg into waving off the play and making it a a personal bout with bev, like when cp flop plays against us.

    it's why westbrick always struggles shooting, yet jackson lights up bev every time. jackson doesn't take things personal he doesn't know any better.

    anyways, canaan showed he was a smart defender in pnR and provided offense. don't get why he is not in the rotation. freestefanurkel!

    What we need is not an upgrade at the PG spot or the PF spot or whatever spot.

    What we need is an upgrade at the ROCKETS SPOT!

    We don't need to be concerned with upgrading. We pretty much have a super team and will have to worry about keeping what we have....
